WE ARE WORTHY
HONORING OUR ELDERS & CHILDREN
This empowering community art project engages Black families in showing gratitude for their children and elders of all ages by celebrating the things that make those individuals so special. "We Are Worthy" builds on a project that was first done in Portland in 2015, in partnership with the organization YOUTH (Youth Organized & United to Help), which engages young
people in events, workshops and projects that lead to dismantling the racially disproportionate school-to-prison pipeline.
Everyone who participates by filling out an online template will receive a digital copy of a 11x17 inch graphically designed poster. For a donation of $15, each poster will be professionally printed and sent to your preferred mailing address.
